Life Purpose Ah-Ha Moments
- At the age of 33, Dave Taylor had his first child, which created an internal shift from being only concerned about his own life to being responsible for another’s. He began looking more carefully at the world around him and how that could influence his children, which crystalized what he should spend more time and effort on.
Major Life Events that Hinted at Your Life Purpose
- Dave Taylor reached his life goal of working at a research center under Hewlett-Packard, leaving him longing to find his next adventure.
- He left his dream job to start new life with his spouse, both returning to school at Perdue to obtain their masters degrees. Although he and his wife split, he doesn’t regret his decisions because its given him three beautiful children.
- Dave Taylor moved back to Silicon Valley birthed his first online business and his first child. Both events have carried on into the roles he plays today as a entrepreneur and a father.

- He was raised Jewish, but the religion did not “sink in”
