Wee Wisdom Preschool: Embracing Mind, Body & Spirit

I want to introduce you to Wee Wisdom Preschool, a new mindful preschool in the Miramar area of San Diego.  Wee Wisdom Preschool teaches young children all the basic things with a big added bonus of mindfulness practices.
I couldn’t be happier to see this offering coming to San Diego because it illustrates an increased interest in higher consciousness.  By enrolling in Wee Wisdom Preschool, parents are introducing their children to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction techniques at an age where they might be ingrained in the child’s life forever.  Think about how easy it is for children to learn languages to learn to play instruments.  They are little sponges.  So, what we put in front of them is what they adopt as part of their core foundations.
When you have young children and you’re learning parenting skills, life can be challenging.  As parents, it can be difficult to remember our daily practices that bring mindfulness to our own lives.  In my experience with coaching parents since 2006, they need all the support they can get.
I love that this program introduces practices like Yoga, Meditation, Gratitude Journals, and Living Green.  Perhaps the children who attend Wee Wisdom Preschool will teach their parents and remind them nightly to think more about fitting in their own practices 😉
